The Beauty Department
I swear this is not a La Roche-Posay ad, I just genuinely use their products becuz A) they work for me & my very reactive, dry skin, & B) sticking to 1 brand for most of your routine makes sense to me since it’s usually designed to work cohesively together. Ive been using these 3 for I want to say 4 years now <3
Don’t scold me, but for the longest time I skipped sunscreen because it either broke me out or never sat right under makeup… UNTIL this milky tatcha sunscreen. I could kiss whoever invented the formula <3
I don’t always do this, but if I have an event or just want to look a little dewy & glowy, I’ll use the Merit Glow Serum. It gives the most gorgeous golden sheen. I also love the classic Saie Glowy Super Gel for a softer glow.
My base skin makeup. I’ve used these Merit sticks for probably 3 years now (shade: Linen in the colder months, Sand in summer). I used to wear foundation until I realized I really only needed these concealer sticks for my everyday makeup. They’re so buildable too perfect for days I need a little more coverage.
For contour, I also love the Merit contour stick in Clay because it’s the perfect cool tone. I really adore the DIBS Beauty contour/blush duo stick too. The formula is so buttery & the pink blush side is the prettiest baby doll shade. & then I finish it off with MILKs setting powder.
Blushhhhhh <3 my favorite part. This is where I usually like to try new brands & play around a bit, since my base layers really haven’t changed for years now that I’ve found what works for my skin. Most recently, I’ve been obsessed with the Prada Beauty blush (yes, because Prada) but I truly love the shades & the formula. It’s creamy yet sets to a powder finish & gives the most gorgeous soft blur look.
(For all 3 of these I own multiple shades. Mostly everything from baby pinks to deeper plum berry tones)
My brow holy grail. This journey to find my perfect brow gel felt like Goldilocks. I’ve tried them all & this is the winner. I love a clear formula, a thin precise applicator, & something that feels light yet still holds all day without feeling like glue or too heavy.
Lips lips lipsss <3 I go through phases with lips. Sometimes it’s just liner, a little dab of blush, or a chic little Gucci lipstick. Lately, I’ve just been doing this bright pink lip stain with my favorite pink lip liner (shade Pink Door).
this is a new diva in my makeup bag, but she’s taking over. Prada, of course…what did we expect? This mascara is absolutely stunning, specially the brownish red mahogany shade.
I don’t mean to brag, but I’ve been getting alot of in person compliments asking what perfume I’m wearing… so I figured it was time to share my current rotation.
