You can tell a lot about a girl by what she carries. So, I asked 10 of my girlfriends to empty their bags for me… & let’s just say, no two are the same. Here’s a peek inside each of their worlds, one bag at a time. From the practical to the absolute chaotic, each bag tells a story about the kind of girl who it belongs to.

The Bag: Stella McCartney Falabella Bag in black, size medium
What's inside? A love letter from my fiancé from my 27th birthday — I laminated it and keep it with me for good luck, A St. Jude card for protection and spiritual comfort. I’m not religious, but my mom gave it to me and it’s something I always carry. My Marc by Marc Jacobs green destroyed coin purse — I bought it at Nordstrom when I was 12 with my allowance because it was on sale. It’s falling apart, but I refuse to replace it. It’s my good luck charm and reminds me of being a kid. Benefit Benetint in Raspberry and Refy Blur Lip Liner in Stone, A Mona Lisa compact mirror I bought up in Paris this summer. Advil — I don’t go anywhere without it. Something is always wrong with me … always and I’m addicted. And of course, cow lighter because obviously idk.

What’s inside?: a lighter of some sort but most likely my own merch lighters, a pair of mother of pearl opera binoculars (for inspecting purposes), a few cough drops, not because I’m sick but because I am no mint girl, a pack of capris for my friends who smoke

The Bag: Balenciaga City from ‘07
What’s Inside?: - wired headphones (my lifeline !!!) especially because i take public transit all over LA. so they help keep me focused and in my own little euphoric world - my metro tap card. i have the app but i love the physical card, it has my picture on it! - a book. i’m really trying to read over scrolling when i’m waiting or on my way somewhere - a pen/ mini notepad - i love to write and always feel the need to scribble something down or draw hearts. CLAW CLIPS if i don’t have at least two in my bag i freak out because i always lose them. i put my hair up and take it down at least 50x a day - lip liner !!!! need i say more??? i don’t leave the house without lipliner it’s my armor - blush. i’m blush blind and blush fades throughout the day so i need to reapply always. i’ll do it with my fingers if i forgot a brush - hoops. i have two pairs of earrings when im in transit. one light pair for when im running around and then a big pair of hoops to switch out when i go to something cute & need to jazz it up - sunglasses. another personal armor. sunglasses are the heartbeat of LA.
